Oh school, how you get in the way of all my fun!!
This weekend we got to go hang out with the BF’s family in smalltownville,US. Okay that’s not really a place but it’s was a small town wedding and I honestly LOVED it. We stayed at the BF’s family farm again {check out my Labor Day Weekend Post} and possibly the only reason I agreed to go was because I could bring my HOMEWORK. Not that I didn’t want to go, but sheesh I seem to have lots these days! I am going to blame the cold that’s creepin up on my homework too!
BF somehow knew I was going to wear pink and wore his pink tie..he knows me a little TOO well 😉 |

I have one online Art History class and one math class that pretends it is an online class because ALL of the homework AND quizzes are online, so the problem is I HAVE TO have internet to do homework for those classes.
Well, the BF’s farm just went wireless (woohoo!) so I was able to work on homework while I was there.
The wedding and reception were super fun and casual (love).
The wedding itself was super small and intimate (compared to other ones I’ve been to) and I would love that to be my wedding! If only the BF had a smaller family and wasn’t the nicest guy in the world with a million friends…
In between the wedding and the reception we went back to the farmhouse where the boys hung out and I did…homework.
But we did get to go to the reception and eat some amazing food, watch the game (go ‘Skers), and even dance a little.
One thing about going out of town to “the farm” is that there are ALWAYS lots and lots of goodies and delectable but fattening foods to eat. It’s tough to resist but I have a few rules I follow when going to food-filled shindigs. (Check out the tips at the bottom of that post! Life savers!)
The main thing I have to do when going to Grandma T’s house is: Get a plate, sit down, and eat. Otherwise I can be up and grab a cookie or two and eat it before I even realize I have! Her cookies are so good I could eat a whole batch of em so I gotta be careful!!

I spent ALL DAY Sunday doing homework while BF climbed on the roof of the farmhouse and fixed their security cameras. I kept yelling out the window, “Be careful!” (Worrywart)
I also ate a bunch of the yummy muffins I made for (drumroll) the very first guest post I have ever written!
Lee at Fit Foodie Finds sent out a tweet last week requesting guest post-ers and I jumped on the opportunity because I have always LOVED her blog. Super fun, healthy recipes, fitness tips and good writing. In fact, it was one of the first ones that I read when I was discovering that I wasn’t the only blogger in the world. 🙂 wrote for fellow blogger . {Here’s the Link: Pumpkin Spice Orange-Soaked Muffins}
