I think the ability to laugh at yourself /your situation can make or break you. Since I don’t want to break, I try to laugh at myself and found a lot of things to laugh at the past few days. Hopefully you will get a few laughs too!

On My Brain #3 [ 7-7-14 ]
Things on my brain this week! Everything from Orange is the New Black to swimsuits.
Butter Vs Margarine–What Do YOU Think?
I made some M+M blondies last night FULL of butter. I will admit it nearly stopped my heart putting in a stick and a half of the stuff, but they are an amazing treat (I will share the recipe soon!) I also use margarine for spreading on toast on occasion. As is the usual tone…
A Visit to The Chive (a dose of snark in poem form)
I’ve been thinking about a way to write about this all week, and this is what I came up with. I’m sorry if you like the Chive, I too was a fan…until I actually went to the site. This girl will no longer “chive on.” A Visit to the Chive Adapted (sort of) from…
Good Enough (The Imperfect Rambles of a Perfectionist)

{Thursday Thoughts} Religiocity: Part 2
Hello Friends! Recently I’ve been wrestling with what I believe…religion-wise. My faith in God and my savior will never waiver, however some of the religious details are a little fuzzy and often up for debate. And that we don’t. ———- Early warning: these are MY opinions and feelings. Some…
{Thursday Thoughts} Don’t Judge Me But..
Hello Friends! We judge others/situations every day. It’s actually a crucial part of life! While we don’t want to be rude in our judgements, they can help us to stay safe, choose our close friends and to exercise our free will to think about people and situations the way we choose. For example…on my roadtrip…
Runners can Conquer
My thoughts and prayers are going out to everyone in Boston as well as runners everywhere! I haven’t quite processed this yet, but I know that as a runner it will be challenging to run the next race with the terrifying images and thoughts from the Boston Marathon yesterday. We can’t let the terror beat…
{Thursday Thoughts} On Steubenville
Okay this topic is pretty uncomfortable to talk about, not to mention the fact that I try not to talk about controversial topics on the blog…why? Who knows. Maybe I don’t have the energy to defend my side and maybe I just want everyone to like me, or not have someone be turned off from…
