To perform the Barbara, do 5 circuits of:
· 20-pullups,
· 30-push-ps
· 40 sit-ups
· And 50 air squats.
After you finish the first circuit, rest for one to two minute and repeat the circuit for four times. Record your timing and aim to beat it the next time.
4. Filthy 50
First time I tried the filthy 50 I had to stop after 10 minutes because I was moving too fast, which stopped me in my tracks. So don’t make that mistake and make sure to pace yourself properly—even if you are already in a good shape.
To perform the Filthy-50, do the following:
· 50 box jumps with a 24-inch box,
· 50 jumping pull-ups,
· 50 kettlebell swings,
· 50 walking lunge steps,
· 50 knees to elbows,
· 50 reps of push press with 45 pounds,
· 50 back extensions,
· 50 wallballs using a 20-pound ball,
· 50 burpees (be sure to drop your chest all the way to the ground),
· And 50 double-unders to finish it off.
5. The Seven
This is another brutal WOD to be taken lightly. The seven is a series of 7 grueling exercises done as fast as possible with good form in a cycle of seven rounds.
The classic Seven includes:
· 7 handstand push-ups
· 7 130-pound thrusters (front squats to push press)
· 7 knee to elbows
· 7 245-pound deadlifts
· 7 burpees
· 7 kettlebell swings
· And 7 pull-ups
Conclusion
I think that’s it for today.
The above workouts are some of my favorite and they can surely help you get into the best shape of your life. Nonetheless, the key to success if your speed of implementation. So don’t waste time thinking whether you should give CrossFit a try. Just do these Crossfit workouts and see for yourself.
