Prepare yourself for some mouthwatering pancake recipes, friends! This is a post I did for Lifehack a couple of weeks back and I really wanted to share it with you all!
The weird thing about this post is that I haven’t made pancakes since we moved into this apartment. I don’t think.
I mean I’ve made waffles and French toast, but for some reason I haven’t ventured into pancakes in over a year. Maybe this post will motivate me!

I remember as a kid my mom made us Mickey Mouse pancakes, or pancakes with one big circle and two little circles on top for the ears. It made Saturdays feel special and fun.
The cool thing about pancakes is that you can whip up a big batch once a week to reheat throughout the week. You can make each morning feel special even if you only have a few minutes to heat them up and inhale them before rushing out of the house.
Without further ado, here are some mouthwatering pancake recipes I think we all need to try!
1. Cake Batter Pancakes via How Sweet Eats
These look like dessert for breakfast! That’s because it basically is. There is actual cake mix in this pancake recipe and it’s topped with a sugary glaze. Maybe serve it with some veggies or a protein. (Pin it here.)
2. Strawberry and Sprinkles Buttermilk Pancakes via Averie Cooks
These lovely pancakes continue the festive sprinkle theme, but at least they have a little fruit to make it a bit of a healthier breakfast. (Pin it here.)
3. 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Pancakes via Fit Foodie Finds
This pancake recipe is healthier still with no oil or butter. The author uses peanut flour for the peanut buttery taste and the topping is healthy as well! (Pin it here.)
4. Pumpkin Gingerbread Protein Pancakes via The Big Man’s World
Speaking of delicious gluten-free recipes..this one looks amazing and totally reminds me of fall. (Pin it here.)
5. Bacon Pancakes via The Frugal Girls
Now this sounds like the perfect pancake recipe; but we all know that bacon makes everything better! There’s also a link in this post for homemade maple syrup and tips for perfectly crispy bacon. (Pin it here.)
6. Maple Cinnamon Pancake Recipe via A Mom’s Take
How sweet does this recipe look? I mean, literally, so sweet and decadent! It also uses natural maple water which until now was a totally foreign ingredient to me. (Pin it here.)
7. Chocolate Pumpkin Pancakes via Strength and Sunshine
I’ve had chocolate chip pancakes, but never chocolate pancakes! This is another glorious gluten free pancake recipe. (Pin it here.)
