Hello all! It’s that time again! The first Friday of the month!
That means it’s time for another Did You Know Link-Up.
Basically Emily from More Than Just Dessert started a weekly post featuring different nutrition topics and she decided she wanted to do a link-up each month with myself and Emily from Sinful Nutrition. Not only am I honored, I am so excited to have this motivation to write more nutrition related posts because the very reason I started this blog was because I have a passion for [semi-healthy] nutrition!
A new exciting twist (if you’re a nerd like me) is that now we will be accepting not only nutrition-related posts, but also fitness and health-related topics. Link away!
I will be writing a post to link to this myself having to do with these delightful things:
Yeah, a nutrition-related post involving cookies. My Almond Delight Cookies to be exact. And I promise it’s not bashing on eating junk-food. I mean really, this is me, the cookie queen we are talking about here. I will surely be making these cookies again for my birthday this Monday (let’s pretend I’m not turning 27 this year…gah) slash this weekend and calling it “birthday weekend.” Cookies are my favorite. Especially ones like these that have hidden nutritional benefits.
So stay tuned for that and in the mean-time…link all of your nutrition, fitness and health-related posts here! Be sure to visit some of the other links to learn something new today!
Make sure to grab one of the buttons below to stick in your post:
Or one of the buttons for your sidebar:
..as we do require you link-back to one of our blogs. (Feel free to ask if you need help with the buttons!)
I can’t wait to read all of your posts and learn something new!
Follow me so I can check out YOUR Pinterest account! 🙂

Yay! What a fun twist! Question on the citing your sources, are you judging the source? So if I post an info graphic, do I just site the link where I got the info graphic? It’s been a while since I had to write a paper/cite a source!

Great question! In general you should always cite image sources (like ALWAYS). For these posts since you will be discussing a topic and listing facts on that topic, you can just put something at the bottom like sources: (list website/link/article). Check back for my post as an example.
Again, great question! I might address it in the next link-up to clarify! 🙂

Okay I’m attaching a screen shot of the post preview…super lazy version of source citing:
You can do annotated too if you want (I’d give each source a number) OR just link some text that you are citing from that source. This post for tomorrow took me 4-5 hours so I’m not getting fancy with annotations, etc ha!
