Thankful Thursday Link-Up #3

Hello dear friends! I am a bit under the weather…I can’t quite kick this awful headache and sneaky sore throat that seem to surface and sideline me just when I need to get things done. I suppose there is really no convenient time to feel sick though, right? πŸ˜‰

I still wanted to do the #30daysofthanks challenge link-up though since I’ve really enjoyed reading the posts that have been linked the past two weeks (here and here).

30 Days of Thanks Challenge on Diary of a Semi-Health Nut

 

I will keep this short and sweet so I can retire to the couch and just include today’s day of thanks.

Today, day 20, I posted on my Facebook page how I’m thankful for the cloudy days since they show me how truly great the sun is. This is more than just a literal statement, although I do love me some sunshine! It’s those days that we feel down or even have a nagging headache that remind us how good things really are on the good days. We need the dark to appreciate the light.

    Awww, I hope you feel better soon, girlie!! I love a good rainy, cloudy day once and awhile just because I love weather changes but you’re very right, it helps us appreciate the bright, sunshine, happy moments of our lives even more. πŸ™‚

    Ugh, it’s that time of year for colds and the flu, right?! (knock on wood I don’t get sick). On that note, I’m thankful for green tea & lemon because of the copious amounts I drink when I don’t feel good, and always make me feel better quicker.

      Oh yes tea is the best! I should start adding lemon to my tea because I know there are a lot of benefits!!
