It’s time for another Inspire Me Monday where you can find all kinds of inspiration and even leave your own inspirational link! Cuz we’re all good at something..right?? (<-it’s true.)
Well hello, lovely party people! I missed you all last week while I took an impromptu week off of posting.
Of course I thought about the blog constantly, updated behind the scenes stuff like my MailChimp e-mails (you should subscribe here for some fun exclusive content!), answered comments and social media, and some other fun projects I’m excited to share about a little later this year…intriguing, yes? (<-I am kind of bad at keeping my own secrets…so it’s really hard not to share everything right away!!)
Since I took a week off of posting here, I have approximately one trillion things to talk to you guys about and something like 4 recipes, a race recap, fitness updates and more. So let’s get into this Inspire Me Monday post so I can write up those yummy recipes for you guys!!
6 Bloggers Who Inspire Me Lately
(This list could honestly be a mile long, but these are the ones that came to mind today.)
1. Amanda from Running with Spoons
Amanda, as all of these bloggers listed, has her own unique style and I always go gaga over any photos she puts on the blog. Often times they are simple things like her meals, a tube of mascara or a scenic shot, but they are all so beautifully crafted I can’t help but scroll down a post once looking at the photos and again reading the content. She also shares little details about her life that honestly make me feel better about my own life because I can totally relate.
2. Lindsay from The Lean Green Bean
This gal is an RD who writes such valuable content so consistently that it honestly boggles my mind. She shares great recipes, kitchen tips (you can see one highlighted in my post last week) and simple ways to eat healthy. I just love that she shares recipes with items that I can buy at any grocery store. This makes me happy because it doesn’t alienate anyone who is just starting to cook for themselves or try to eat a little healthier. I hope I can do the same here on my blog!
3. Jenn from Peas and Crayons
This gal cracks me up with her witty words and leaves me drooling over her veggie-packed meals. Her photos always make me happy in a way that I can’t quite describe. Maybe it’s the colors? The love? The whimsy? Also we both go batty over our significant others leaving their socks all over the house. (I often tell Dave I’m going to burn them. I am only kind of kidding.)
4. Pat Flynn from Smart Passive Income
I have probably high-lighted him a few times in the past couple of months, but I cannot get enough of his two podcasts: Ask Pat and Smart Passive Income. I take away so many nuggets and end up feeling so inspired to take on the world after listening. I can’t listen to TOO many in a row though because then I get too many ideas and my brain becomes overloaded. It’s a great listen though if you are wanting to start any kind of business online. My absolute favorite episode was when Pat had Pinch of Yum talk all about their blog and business over the years. So. inspiring!
5. Sue Anne from Successful Blogging
I JUST found this blog through a beta testing program I was involved in where I compiled a list of helpful blogging tips. I joined her e-mail list and after a couple of days she sent an e-mail (likely from her auto responder) asking what the hardest thing about blogging is for me. I knew immediately what I have always struggled with..consistency in posting and keeping some kind of schedule or creating some method to my madness. She personally responded kindly and thoughtfully. Then she even shared an article she read on the subject we were discussing. I know she has a lot more followers than me, so I really appreciated the time and care she put into our e-mails.
6. Lee from Fit Foodie Finds
Lee has been an inspiration from the beginning from her mouth-watering recipes to her pretty blog design. We also both have the tendancy to write lonnnggg posts and I always feel better than I’m not the only long-winded blogger out there! I actually have to stop myself from reading her blog too often so I don’t unknowingly copy her style or something. (It’s like when you’re friends with someone and you start to laugh like them or adapt some of their mannerisms…except it’s just me stalking her via the interwebs.) But seriously, she inspires me to keep on keeping on with my little blog because she proves that with hard work, dedication and some serious creativity, you can make blogging your fulltime gig!

Kaylin @ Enticing Healthy Eating
What a wonderful way to spread some blogger love! I know they will all appreciate it and it showcases how much of a supporter you are to the blogger community. I love this community, I swear. Okay, had to be cheesy there…but it’s true. Well, YOU are at the top of my list of favorite bloggers (no, really), especially after you had that Fluffybutt of a kitten join the party because I have such a soft spot for cats. 😉 I’ve always enjoyed your blog posts–your recipes, your advice, and your relateable stories.
Amanda @ Diary of a Semi-Health Nut
I really do love this community as well! It’s so different than meeting people in the real world..because here we already start out with something in common..so cool!
Aaand this comment made my day. Truly. I’m so thrilled at least one person finds me relatable and helpful. Yes, the fluffybutt has changed my life for the better and definitely ups the cuteness factor on the blog and Instagram! Did you see the pics of her in my last balls recipe?? I die.
Katie
I totally know what you mean about reading someone’s blog less often so you don’t copy it, its so easy to do!!! Also, I loved how your popup about joining the reading list didn’t show up until I was almost done reading the post, the delay (was it intentional? if so you’re a genius) was perfect!
Amanda @ Diary of a Semi-Health Nut
I’m glad I’m not the only one obsessed with blogs to the point of unintentional copying!!
YES the delay was intentional..something I’m kind of testing out but it does make sense to have the pop-up NOT happen right away because you just click out of it, right? Yay for trial and error and success! 🙂
Allison @ With Faith and Grace
It’s always fun to see lists of who other people are reading. I learn about so many awesome bloggers this way!
Amanda @ Diary of a Semi-Health Nut
Yes, I love reading them too! Plus I like giving a shout out to my fellow bloggers! 🙂
Lindsay @ The Lean Green Bean
you’re so sweet! Thanks so much for the shoutout!
Amanda @ Diary of a Semi-Health Nut
Of course! Gotta give credit where it’s due! 😉
