This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Foodie for Bliss.com. All opinions are 100% mine as per usual.
It’s no secret that I have a sweet tooth. That’s why it’s pretty essential that I make most of my desserts semi- healthy desserts. Otherwise I would probably just turn into one big bowl of sugar.
I’m pretty sure that’s what 75% of the recipes on this blog are…semi- healthy dessert recipes! That’s why I got super excited when one of this month’s Foodie Collection themes was “Healthy Twist on Classic Desserts.”
These recipes could be used for some last minute Labor Day ideas or even as some goodies to bring to your next tailgating party. Trust me, no one will turn away a peach cobbler..especially topped with icecream!
12 Healthy Dessert Recipes
If you’ve never heard of Foodie, it’s like Pinterest, only more for foodies and you can be much more confident the photo you see links to an actual recipe because of the way the Foodie bookmarklet works. For more info on Foodie, check out my How to Use Foodie post.
I rounded up 12 healthy desserts (or semi-healthy..depending on your healthy dessert standards) and put them on my new Foodie board “Healthified Desserts.”
Check out Healthified Desserts
I tried to do a good mix of recipes from Diary of a Semi-Health Nut and from other bloggers, using Foodie’s search bar. Each time I go back to Foodie, I am surprised by the sheer number of recipes I find. I was able to do this round-up in about an hour and a half (not counting this post…might add another hour to the equation).
Some of my favorite Healthified Desserts:
Soft and Chewy Protein Bars via Running with Spoons
Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cake in a Mug via Diary of a Semi-Health Nut
Check out the rest of the 12 Healthy Dessert Recipes here! (I’m sure I will be adding to it, too!)
13 Healthy Dessert Recipes Featuring Peaches
This next round-up I created was for Lifehack. It took me forever since I asked all around for blogger friends’ recipes. I have been tracking my time for sponsored posts basically to see if the project is worth my time, but I’ve also been tracking the time I work on specific blog tasks. I know, I’m a total nerd. Calee suggested this sweet app called Toggl. I’ve only been using it a couple of weeks, but I think it’s helping me realize how long I spend on some kind of pointless tasks. Like messing with blog settings..ugh. Hours of my life gone!
15 Heavenly Tasty Peach Recipes
This particular post took me 5 hours. No joke. I did take the time to pin each recipe, but when you are asking bloggers in 5 different Facebook groups, on your blog Facebook page, Twitter and then just searching through favorite bloggers’ past recipes…the time can really add up! The money I made compared to the time I put into it is ridiculously low, but I figure with Lifehack I get pretty decent exposure since we have our bio on the bottom of each post. Plus, it was totally worth it because I absolutely love showing off my friends’ recipes. Plus…I got to drool over lots of yummy healthy dessert recipes!
Here are some of my favorite peach recipes:
Peach Cobbler with Quinoa via Nosh and Nourish
Blackberry Peach Grilled Cheese via Clean Eats Fast Feets
Gluten Free Brûléed Peach & Nutella Tarts via Anyonita Nibbles
Berry Peach Overnight Oats via A Whisk and Two Wands
Peach Freezer Jam via Southern Bite
See the rest of the 15 Heavenly Tasty Peach Recipes here!
In case you were wondering, 2 of the recipes aren’t dessert recipes…so 13 from the Lifehack post + 12 from the Foodie post = 25 (semi) healthy dessert recipes. 😉 Math is fun!

I hope you all have a lovely Labor Day! Dave and I will be spending it driving back up to Minnesota after our fun weekend in Nebraska. We had a friend’s wedding to attend so we had an excuse to head back home to Nebraska.
Luckily we also had the chance to hang out with our families..including my cutie pie of a nephew. I took approximately 10 million pictures. Even though my iPhone keeps telling me I have no more memory… #firstworldproblems
PS Don’t forget to check out my most recent recipe and giveaway! 🙂
Tell me….
What is your favorite dessert? Mine is cookies!!!
PS I’m all about Pinterest this year, so I would LOVE IT if you could pin one (or two!) of these images!

Thank you for including my Blackberry Peach Grilled Goat Cheese recipe. I very, very much appreciate it as you already know.
I’m fascinated by the idea of tracking your time on blogging tasks. I think I need to look into this.
My iPhone was constantly running out of memory space for pictures so I went through and deleted my text history for almost everyone and suddenly I have loads of space. You might want to try doing that.
Amanda @ Diary of a Semi-Health Nut
I never even thought of text history! On my old phone I had it delete after a certain number of days or messages….so glad you brought that up because I text all. the. time!
Yes tracking time on blogging kind of reminds me or points out when I’ve spent too much time on something AND helps me try to focus on one thing at a time. Which is so hard for me I genuinely fear I have ADD.

Hey Mama! Delicious round up, especially with peach season coming to a close. Tear! BUT I SMELL PUMPKIN. That blue dress is beautiful on you, especially with that hair color!
PS. I’m doing a Snack Challenge on the old Challenge Loop! Would love your support since your one of the bloggers that really inspire! 🙂
Amanda @ Diary of a Semi-Health Nut
Thank you, friend!
I will head on over to check that out shortly! 🙂
Cassie
All of those look so great!! My fave dessert is DEF ice cream!
Amanda @ Diary of a Semi-Health Nut
Ohh mine would definitely be icecream were it not for the freaking lactose and my stomach hating it! I still sneak bites every now and then and just deal with it. 😉
Anyonita
I FINALLY got around to seeing this post! Fantastic job, lady! 🙂 Sharing it like mad! Thanks so much for including my peach dessert!
Amanda @ Diary of a Semi-Health Nut
