To start off this WIAW or What I Ate Wednesday, here is what I’m eating now:
a big bowl of deliciosity. Or the delicious trifecta: Peanutbutter Cheerios (must try!), mini semi-sweet chocolate chips and one sliced banana.
This is also what my room currently looks like:
and that’s only half of it…which is quite embarrassing because a friend from class stayed the night and I even had piles of laundry on my bed at the time. Good thing she’s the nicest person ever and just told me how comfy the camping chair in my room was!
Needless to say, life is a little chaotic right now, and I’m feelin’ it, but I really shouldn’t be complaining. I got to see family this weekend, I have a couple of friends at school now and I’m heading to KC to see Dave, go to a dietetics conference, and attend a friend’s bachelorette party. How crazy is it that those three things are all in KC??
God definitely shows off sometimes!
Okay back to what I’ve been eating….
(More on why I do WIAW here.)
Proteinalicious smoothie with almond milk, frozen strawberries and banana. I drank a cup of this after my 8-miler on Saturday and I was delightfully surprised to find out during the next couple of days that I wasn’t sore at all from the run!
Leftover lentil salad and crab cakes (I promise those recipes are coming!) atop of green spinach. I nearly inhaled a bowl of this after my run today.
Easter bedtime snacks such as M&Ms in my PB Cheerios with peanuts,
as well as homemade grandma cookies leftover from Easter with green tea (decaf believe it or not!) along with Kashi cereal to keep the blood sugar level. My grandma’s carrot cake was there to help me get through some Chemistry homework Monday night.
I have quite a bit of leftovers from this weekend actually….
I love it when my fridge is full! The key with lots of leftovers and fresh food is to arrange the contents in order of what needs to be eaten first.
Oh another reason I shouldn’t be complaining…I have a birthday coming up!
And that means a giveaway on the blog coming up…because you guys deserve presents too! 😉
Well it’s time to write one of my lab reports! Happy Wednesday friends!
