Goal Achieving Awesomeness

Happy Monday, Friends!

I have this habit of creating extra long posts (have you noticed this?).  So I decided to split up my food post and goals post.  You’re welcome.

I can’t believe that we are coming to the end of February.  This means that it is high time to check out my New Years Resolutions and see how I’ve done this month.  (Check out my status in January here.)


Here are some of the goals I’ve accomplished this month (I still have a couple of days to complete more!):

  • Created a series {Love Yourself February}.  I put a lot of work into it and I think I came up with some good stuff, yes?
  • Had 2 guest posters for said series!  
    • (Goal of 5 guest posters this year…wanna guest post for me?) 
    • Tina Reale: The “Dream” Physique 
    • I can’t emphasize enough how much I want you to take this challenge!  Let me know if you’ve taken this challenge and would like to share your story (or already have on your own blog). 
    • Lindsay Wright: Self-Love
  • I signed up for a small blogger conference Blend Retreat in Colorado.  
    • Super excited and super nervous…I still am not sure how I’m getting there, but I have a couple of months right??  
    • (The fact that I am meeting “strangers” and have no plan of travel is flippin out the BF.)
    • (The challenge of getting there is distracting me from the fact that I get super nervous meeting new people!!)
  • Created a semi-healthy treat: Lovingly Healthy Cookie Bars 
  • Doing okay on my running schedule…little behind but staying positive.  I did manage to run in some sketchy weather so in that respect I’m feeling like a veteran. 
  • Other potential goals to be met in remaining days of February:
    • Finishing the book I’m reading (and write a review)
    • Try out Zumba with my sister
Oh my goodness I want to make these again!!

Okay, you can help with some of my goals this year if you so desire!  Of course I would love it if you liked me on Facebook, follow on Twitter and Pinterest as well as be my friend on DailyMile.  I have goals for those social media areas, but honestly, I just want to connect with YOU, my readers, in some form or another!

I would also love to have some runners guest post in the months of April and May leading up to my half marathon (May 20th). 

If you have a certain topic about running that you feel confident in or just want to share your story about completing a race, send me an e-mail at semihealthnut AT yahoo DOT com.  I am looking for tips, advice, and motivation as I near my very first half-marathon ever!!  (Come on..you know you wanna!)
