Hello friends!
I know Friday Finds or Friday Favorites or Friday Follows isn’t new to the blogging world, but I am joining in the fun!
I am constantly checking out other talented bloggers pages to find inspiration and to find delicious food/desserts to make. It’s hard to limit it down to just five, but I don’t have time to list all the incredible recipes I came across this week. Now I just need to make some of the recipes…the only thing I’ve made is cookie dough
Another “Hodge-Podge” Cookie to add to the list: Oatmeal, Sunflower Nut, Dark Chocolate Chip |
(that’s chillin in my fridge) and leftovers.
It’s not all my fault I haven’t made anything….I had no one else to feed! The Daddio and the BF were BOTH outa town this week. Frowny face. That has never happened before and now I am remembering what I did before I had peeps to share my dinner with…made one thing and lived off the leftovers for a week. {Not that leftovers are bad…did a post Leftovers 101: Eat Them Already AND have been living off of the leftovers of Inside-out Pizza for quite some time. Saves money!}
But I am glad they are both coming back today because apparently when left alone…the house starts to look a little messy…
Like my “workspace?” |
Here’s what made my Friday Five Foodie Finds TO TRY List:
A super yummy AND healthy topping for waffles, bread, pancakes, etc.
Seriously that’s some good photography! |
I haven’t had nachos in a long time and I’m sure I have never had nachos this healthy. Craving the delicious combo of veggies, ooey cheese, refreshing salsa and of course the salty crunch of a Tostido chip! {She also has some sweet lookin muffins in that post…bonus!}
Lee from Fit Foodie Finds’ Healthy Fiesta Lime Rice
This girl always has the best food posts and I am always left drooling and thinking about that food for the day. This rice would probably go along with the nachos from above too…
Finding Joy in my Kitchen’s Maple Oat Scones
I’ve never made scones before, but I am pretty sure I will be trying after this picture…oh my drippy deliciousness!
Julie at Savvy Eats’ Cinnamon Sugar Slice and Bake Cookies
Well hello beautiful treats |
Cookies are my favorite so I think it’s very fitting that at least one cookie recipe made it in this week. Check out Julie’s expert photography. Love!
And on that sweet note, I will bid you farewell to finish up my laundry and have some breakfast (waffles calling my name) and try to get to work on time!
P.S. I am going to be making a fall treat tonight for my first ever guest post!! So excited/nervous!! Wish me luck!!!
