I always take pics of my food nowadays…anyone with me? But then I have so many pictures and not enough time to share and blog about em..so here’s a quick look at my dinner date last night…
Me and the BF were out running errands and the plan was to make some of my delish pizza with vegetables but alas we got hungry and had to stop somewhere to eat.
We chose Jason’s Deli. I’m not sure if you have one in your area, but it is worth it to check it out! Lot’s of fun, creative and delicious foods to choose from.
The BF chose to have a Ranchero Wrap… and a HUGE bowl of soup. For some reason he thought the bowl was the smaller choice compared to a cup of soup…something about how at the country club he used to work at the bowl was the smaller one…whatever it was just hilarious because the soup was bigger than the wrap!
Good thing he only ate half of this big thing of Broccoli Cheese Soup because here are some of the nutrition facts: (Jason’s Deli Nutrition Facts)

For my meal I went with one of the specialty sandwiches Amy’s Turkey-O. But I think we have to take out the O because that maybe stood for onion bread? I substituted for croissant. For health purposes? Heck no! A buttery croissant is in no way healthier than onion bread…but it was sooo worth it! This sandwich had a couple of different tomatoes, avocados (I just recently discovered I like avocado!) and a yummy fancy mustard sauce.
I ate half of the sandwich and devoured the cup of Chicken Noodle Soup. I am still thinking about that soup..I want to recreate it somehow but I have no idea how they get the taste…very unique. Think I could ask for the recipe?
I am also thinking about that sandwich too by the way…the rest is sitting in the BF’s fridge and I had planned on eating it today for lunch. He also “forgot” to bring it over today when we had dinner at my place…very suspicious…

Jason’s Deli was a nice treat. With delicious food, friendly service and a laid-back atmosphere it was a perfect casual date spot. Thanks BF! 🙂
