Good evening,
I was going to get to bed early tonight BUT I remembered I had laundry to do for work tomorrow! Don’t ya hate it when that happens?? Now I have about an hour to kill so, as requested, I am going to post the recipe for the cookies I made yesterday!
I was blog stalking searching and I found a recipe for some delightful looking Chocolate Crinkles. I found them on the blog Finding Joy in my Kitchen. This sweet gal has been blogging a few years so she has TONS of recipes to look through. (Her recipe was adapted from Betty Crocker.)
Anywhoo….
Chocolate {Crinkle} Cookie-Brownies
12 T of cocoa powder (3/4 C)
1/2 C vegetable oil + 3 T
2 C sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 C flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4-6 Cinnamon Graham Crackers (Semi-health Nut add in)
Instructions:
Mix oil, chocolate and sugar.
Blend in 1 egg at a time until well mixed. Add vanilla.
Stir together flour, powdered sugar, baking powder and salt. Beat into oil mix.
Mix well and chill for several hours or over night.
Drop by spoonfuls into {Crushed Cinnamon Graham Crackers}.
Roll and shape into balls. Place 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. (10 for chewier…the way I like my cookies)
Makes 6 dozen cookies….so share! I gave some to my Daddio to take to work and then brought some over to my BF and BF Roomie and BF Roomie GF (Boyfriend’s Roommate’s Girlfriend incase you didn’t get it).
Mmmm! These pics make me want one! Okay I am off to grab a Chocolate Crinkle Cookie-Brownie and have some bedtime tea while my clothes dry. 🙂
Have a happy, healthy, blessed day!
