Happy Friday, you lovely party people! Yes, I called you party people. Why? You are currently attending a link-up party..whether you knew it or not! It’s called Did You Know and it’s hosted by myself and the Emilys on the first Friday of each month!
Did You Know is all about nutrition, fitness and health-related posts that teach you something! Just fill in the Did You Know ___ blank! It’s a great opportunity for bloggers like myself to get all nerdy about nutrition, fitness and health facts and tips! It’s also a great opportunity as a reader to learn something new from the knowledgeable folks linking up. As we all know..knowledge is power!
We even have a Pinterest board where we pin every post that’s linked up (if the post fits the bill. see the rules in the link-up below!)
Follow Diary of a Semi-Health Nut’s board Did You Know on Pinterest.
Find out more about the party here and check out all of the past link-ups here.
If you’d like to be notified when our future link-ups go live, please click the button below to enter your e-mail below! We promise to not spam you! ๐
I like to high-light some of my favorite posts linked up in last month’s post, so let’s get started.
Most Clicked on Post:
A Letter to My Younger Self via Melissa at Mango About Town
This is a fun idea..I should probably do one of these because although I don’t consider myself wise now, I am a BIT wiser than I was, say, in high school! Melissa talks a lot about what she’s learned nutrition-wise, so be sure to check this one out!
My Personal Favorites:
Should I Add Exercise or Change My Diet First via Ashley at Passion for Life, Love, and Health
This is a great question and while we want to just say “change BOTH,” for some, that isn’t realistic. Focusing on one aspect at a time with smaller goals within each can help achieve long-lasting results!
How to Make Time For Your Health When Youโre Busy via Megan at Skinny Fitalicious
This is such a practical and simple list and I love how she schedules her workouts. I need to get better at that!
So, would you like to participate?
- Make sure you are clear on the rules below. We’ve noticed a few recipes linked up with no nutrition, fitness or health topic covered and we want to remind everyone this isn’t the link-up for that. (it’s okay though, there IS a place for it. scroll down to read!)
- Click the blue button at the bottom of this post to add your nutrition, fitness and health posts.
- Link back to one of our blogs and/or use one of the handy-dandy buttons in your post. (let me know if you need help with this!)
- Use the hashtag #DidUKnowLink so we can share your links with our social media.

Link + Learn!
Want to hear some exciting news? I’m starting another link-up!
Like I said before, we noticed a few healthy recipes being linked up and while we love recipes..this isn’t the link-up for that. Then I realized that I’ve not seen a recipe link-up that focuses on healthy recipes, so I’ve decided to start Semi-Healthy Saturdays!
The link-up will go up Saturday mornings and feature healthy or semi-healthy foods. If you can tell me something in it that adds a health benefit (like veggies, dark chocolate, whole grains, fiber, etc) then it qualifies!
Tell me….
What would you tell your younger self?
How do you make time for your health when you are busy?
What do you think about the Semi-Healthy Saturdays link-up?
Melissa @ Mango About Town
Thanks for featuring my post! It was a lot of fun to write!!
Amanda @ Diary of a Semi-Health Nut
