I think I am going a little crazy. (It’s cool if you want to tell me I’m always crazy. There’s some truth to that.)
We are leaving for Nebraska today, a 6-7 hour drive depending on the roads, but I still have to:
- Pick up packages from the apartment office
- Wrap presents
- Do a load of laundry
- Write two articles
- Pack for a week in Nebraska
- Clean out the fridge, take out the trash/recycling
- Try to clean since Dave’s parents are visiting right when we get back
- Workout?
BUT I am here on my butt eating my “breakfast cookies” (which still have too much sugar) and drinking coffee in a giant snowman mug, typing this post.
Seriously, what is wrong with me?
I suppose I am feeling a little under the weather. I mean last night I woke myself snoring. And I’m not typically a snorer so there was something up with my nose.
I have also been trying to post this for a couple of weeks now and Christmas is in oh three days. So please, enjoy! 😉

I quite enjoy the creative post names that Lifehack comes up with. I cannot take credit for them and they are often so cheesy they make me giggle. Like “mind-blowingly delicious.” I suppose that helps sell the articles right? But it is quite a bit of pressure to find some amazing recipes!
This is the second post “teaser” (I like “quotes.”) that I’ve posted. I couldn’t help but share the 11 Cozy Drinks to Warm You This Winter on a freezing sub-zero day a couple of weeks ago.
I’m including both a post teaser PLUS even MORE recipes I’ve found since I wrote this post a couple of weeks ago. I hope you are ready for some delightfully decadent, mind-blowingly delicious, Christmas recipes!!

10 Mind-Blowingly Delicious Christmas Recipes
The holidays are the time to make delicious food to share with loved ones. It is also a time for baking and sharing loads of decadent sweets. Here are some amazing Christmas recipes I have found—all of them involving sugar and many including my beloved friends: mint and peppermint.
Candy Cane Kiss Cookies
I have also heard of these cookies referred to as “candy cane blossoms.” Whatever you call them, they sure are festive!
Peppermint Marshmallows
Have you ever made your own marshmallows? I sure haven’t! This recipe bumps it up a notch with the peppermint swirls.
Colorful Swirl Cookies
I have wanted to make swirl cookies for the longest time. You simply roll them up, store them in the freezer and slice them off whenever you are ready to bake!
Red Velvet Cake Cookies
This is a super easy recipe to make since you start with a cake mix! Thus the “cake cookies” in the title.
See the next six recipes here. I’d also love it if you’d comment on the article and share it! 🙂

Note: Always make sure to pin pictures from posts like this from the original source. I usually link the original post in the recipe title and even try to link to a pin of the post for even easier sharing. The point is, these are not my photos, so I want to make sure the pins come from the original source as this is proper pinning etiquette. 🙂
