Hello Friends!
So this whole moving thing…my idea?
And this whole going to school at the age of 25 with a bunch of smarty-pants teenagers…my idea too?
Just kidding. It’s not that bad! Just a lot of changes.
I now have classes five days a week. And with awkward spaces in between them where I should be doing homework, but today I searched for my asics and went for my first run in a week at the apartment fitness center!
I also love my new roomie! She decided she liked me too after she read this post.
The apartment is pretty nice, but it’s no house (read: less space). Le sigh. (I will update more on the living situation tomorrow.) Change is good though, right??
Moving day fuel: Whole wheat PB toast + gummy vites + fitmixer with flavored water (yum!) |
I have some eats I snapped the last couple of days of packing things up…yes two of the meals involve eggs since I had extra (I asked Dave to pick some up one day when I thought I didn’t have any…oops).
Green eggs and chipolte sweet potato fries. |
Microwaved eggs with edamame, leftover corn pancakes with peanutbutter |
Gotta use up the Christmas stocking candy! |
I ate TWO bowls of this with tea while I watched Gilmore Girls and packed till 330am on Friday! |
My room is a still a hot mess (see my Facebook post from tonight), but I will be working on it tonight after I schedule this post, direcly defying yesterday’s post with a dose of caffeine as I type this at 10:30pm.
But will I make it through my long day of classes tomorrow is the question. Two labs tomorrow, but I will admit, one is super fun (except we get quizzed and have to write up reports) because we get to cook! We are required to wear and apron and of course that is one of the few things I left behind at dad’s house.
Yep, it’s a valentine’s apron. Hope my lab group likes it! 😉 |
So I bought the only one I could find at Target tonight, where I spent and ungodly amount of cash on things that I forgot most people have to buy themselves. Le double sigh.
Oh hey, almost forgot…congratulations to the winner of a very awesome giveaway of one month’s supply of Naturebox, Nance Lehman!
Please send me an e-mail so I can get you in touch with my lovely friends at Naturebox!

Love eggs! Any way to make them I will probably love!
Amanda aka Semi-Health Nut
Me too!! I’m sure people scoff at microwaving them but it’s delicious! Comes out the texture between hard-boiled and scrambled eggs. 🙂

Going into “real life” or “the real world” for the first time is SUCH an eye-opener. I still relish going home, and, at 28 years old, attempt to get my parents to pay for as much as possible for me while I’m visiting. 🙂

Also, moving is lame.

Yea I lived on my own about 4 years then moved in with my dad for two…forgot how awesome I had it haha!
