I ran yesterday for the first time in….3 weeks??
I had some cool new shoes to test out! I only did a walk/run for 2 miles, but I am sore today! Could have had something to do with a good song on the ipod and sprinting up a hill at the end of my outing…
I had the day off yesterday (as I have in the past two WIAWs) and it was kind of a lazy day.
I cleaned out both my personal and my blog e-mail, which was quite a feat. Then I got out of the house with my little 2-miler. I also updated my Friends/Family page and did a yummy Dr. Pepper Ribs post. I even managed to do some laundry and dishes.
And eat! And take pictures of my eats!
I guess I did get a few things accomplished. Hoorah for a day not wasted!
Here is what I ate yesterday.

{Breakfast} 9:30am (picked at it until noon): Whole wheat toast with crunchy Jif peanutbutter and grandma jelly (BF’s grandma made it for me)
I am loving Pepperidge Farms 15 Grain bread right now!
Beverages: 1 bottle of water, Diet Dew
Workout: I went for a run at 1:30. Super hot and schweaty!
Beverage: 1 water bottle
{Lunch} 2:30pm: Some sort of sandwich. That is nearly as specific as I can get since it was a freebie from the Daddio. Beggars can’t be…to inquisitive as to the contents of the sandwich?
I’m thinking it was turkey and ham with lettuce and mayo (I hardly EVER have mayo…and I am sticking to that…) and I added some mustard (before I realized there was mayo). I enjoyed the sandwich with some crunchy carrot chips.
Beverages: 1 bottle water, 1 Diet Dew
{Dessert}: I had a few Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies which I snacked on all afternoon.
Beverage: 1 bottle of water

{Dinner} 7:30pm: Spinach salad, cool cottage cheese, topped with a warm piece of grilled chicken and Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce.
Beverages: 1 bottle water, 1/2 Diet Dew
{Late Night Snack} 11pm: Peanutbutter Cheerios. Oh. My. Goodness.
This is my absolute favorite new cereal. If I didn’t care about nutrition and silly things like balancing the food groups, I would just eat this all. day. long. Plus about a fourth of a sugar cookie from my late birthday extravaganza. I was going to finish it the night before but it was SO GOOD I wanted to savor it. This may have been the best part of my day. 😉
Beverages: Grean tea with honey, 1/2 bottle of water
Well the day wasn’t too bad, but where’s my fruit!?
I am working at my coffee catering job tonight and am definitely making a fruit smoothie as my free drink!
