Everyone is getting married!!
I think last year was the year that began the wedding insanity. I went from not going to a wedding since I was about 10 years old…to 5 to 10 a year! I even got to be in one this year! I can’t complain though, because weddings are a great place to catch up with old friends, meet new people, and contemplate life. Am I the only one that gets to thinkin at weddings? I wonder how many kids they will have. I wonder if we will stay in touch now that they are married. I wonder if they will be happy. I wonder when I will get married…
The food and cake doesn’t hurt either. Am I right?? I love to see what people chose to serve, how they serve it, and I get a little food critic in me when I am eating it. AND THE MINTS! I would take a whole plate of mints in lieu of a piece of cake any day. 😉
Boo fuzzy pic that makes my head hurt |
I went to my friend Hannah’s wedding this past Saturday. I met her through my friend Em (the one that I go on stroller walks with). Em was a bridesmaid in the wedding and looked amazing! She always looks pretty, but she is usually in “mom” gear…aka t-shirt, jeans, no make-up, ponytail and for a night she got to look fancy. 🙂

Of course I didn’t take as many pictures as I would have liked (seriously…none of the bride and groom??) but I did have fun. AND got the BF out on the dance floor!!

He’s nice enough to finish my cake for me when I’ve eaten too many wedding mints 😉 |
Back it up.
This was supposed to be a WIAW post…What I Ate Wednesday post. So here’s what I ate earlier.
Most of the day was spent doing homework until we went to the wedding reception so I ate sitting in front of my Art History book. Woot.
Breakfast: Kashi Blueberry Waffle, Peanutbutter, trail mix (slivered almonds, dark chocolate chips, cereal)
Second Breakfast/ Midmorning Snackaroo: Kashi waffle, peanutbutter, reduced sugar jelly (and homework)
Snackeroo 2: Candied walnuts
Lunch: 2 hardboiled eggs mashed with Sweet Baby Ray’s dipping sauce and multigrain scoop chips with water and diet dew
Dessert: Reese’s
DinDin: See lovely plate of chicken, taters, green beans, etc above 🙂
Desert: Large amount of wedding mints and part of chocolate wedding cake. Plus half of my “pink drink”…vodka, sprite and cranberry.
And thank goodness for the greenbeans…otherwise I’d have no veggies for the day. No fruit was
consumed, however.
Must work on this!
I enjoy WIAW! It’s basically a food diary so you can see how well (or how terribly) you are eating. I can recognize from this that I def need to add more fruits and veggies (I badly needed to go to the store that day) AND that my diet contains mucho sugar.
